Terms & Conditions

By paying an invoice and accepting delivery of equipment, the Customer agrees to all terms and conditions outlined below. Any modifications must be made in writing and approved by Shu’s Event Rentals LLC.

“Customer” refers to the individual or entity renting equipment.
“Company” refers to Shu’s Event Rentals LLC.

These terms apply to all rental equipment including tents, tables, chairs, linens, restroom trailers, and related event equipment.

For luxury restroom trailer rentals, the Luxury Restroom Trailer Rental Agreement shall govern in the event of any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the trailer rental agreement.

Reservation and Payment

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve rental equipment. Deposit policies vary depending on the type of equipment rented.

1.1 Standard Party Rental Equipment (Tents, Tables, Chairs, Linens)

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve standard party rental equipment. The deposit will be applied toward the total rental cost. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the scheduled delivery date. Failure to make payment by the required deadline may result in cancellation of the reservation and forfeiture of the deposit.

1.2 Luxury Restroom Trailer Rentals

A 25% non-refundable deposit and a signed contract are required to secure the reservation. The deposit will be applied toward the total rental cost. The remaining balance and additional payment terms will be outlined in the Luxury Restroom Trailer Rental Agreement provided at the time of booking. Failure to make payment according to the terms of the agreement may result in cancellation of the reservation.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation policies vary depending on the equipment reserved.

2.1 Standard Party Rental Equipment (Tents, Tables, Chairs, Linens)

Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event will receive a refund of the 25% deposit. Customers may reschedule within 2 months, subject to equipment availability. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

2.2 Luxury Restroom Trailer Rentals

The 25% deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled event will result in forfeiture of all payments made.

Customers renting luxury restroom trailers should refer to the Luxury Restroom Trailer Rental Agreement for additional cancellation terms and policies.

3. Delivery and Pick-Up

Delivery terms vary depending on the type of equipment rented.

3.1 Standard Party Rental Equipment (Tents, Tables, Chairs, Linens)

Delivery fees begin at $85 within a 50-mile radius.

Additional charges may apply for: Specific delivery times, Locations more than 100 feet from vehicle access, Carrying equipment upstairs, After-hours service, and Difficult site access. All equipment must be broken down, stacked, and ready for pickup at the original delivery location. Moving equipment from the delivery site without authorization may result in a $100 relocation fee.

3.2 Luxury Restroom Trailer Rentals

Restroom trailer rentals include a $350 delivery/setup and pickup fee, which is built into the rental price and covers standard delivery within the service area. Customers must provide clear, safe, and unobstructed access for delivery, service, and pickup. Delivery and pickup scheduling is determined at the Company’s discretion unless a timed delivery fee has been paid. The restroom trailer must remain at the original delivery location and may not be moved after installation except by the Company.

4. Customer Responsibility for Equipment

The Customer assumes full responsibility for all rental equipment from the time of delivery until pickup. Equipment must be: Protected from weather, Secured when not in use and Returned in good condition The Customer agrees to pay for any damage, loss, theft, vandalism, or additional cleaning beyond normal wear and tear.

4.1 Additional Party Rental Equipment Requirements

The Customer must remove all trash and decorations from rental areas prior to pickup. Linens must be removed from tables and neatly stacked for counting. Additional charges may apply for soiled, stained, or damaged linens.

4.2 Additional Restroom Trailer Responsibilities

Customers renting luxury restroom trailers are responsible for maintaining safe and level placement of the trailer and ensuring clear access for service vehicles. The Customer is responsible for the conduct of all individuals using the restroom trailer during the rental period. Luxury restroom trailers may only be serviced, relocated, or modified by Shu’s Event Rentals LLC.

5. Electrical and Water Requirements (Restroom Trailer Rentals Only)

Customers renting luxury restroom trailers must provide access to the required electrical and water connections necessary for operation. All utility requirements, generator options, and service specifications are outlined in the Luxury Restroom Trailer Rental Agreement.

Customers should refer to that agreement for complete details regarding power, water, and service requirements.

6. Acceptable Use (Restroom Trailer Rentals Only)

Luxury restroom trailers must be used only for their intended purpose and in accordance with all operational guidelines. Detailed use restrictions, prohibited materials, and operational policies are outlined in the Luxury Restroom Trailer Rental Agreement.

Customers should refer to that agreement for complete usage guidelines.

7. Liability and Indemnification

The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shu’s Event Rentals LLC, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from the delivery, installation, use, or possession of rental equipment. Shu’s Event Rentals LLC shall not be liable for injury, property damage, or losses resulting from the use of rental equipment.

8. Damage to Property and Utilities

The Customer must inform the Company of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, cables, pipes, or other hazards prior to installation. The Customer assumes full responsibility for any damage to underground utilities or property caused during equipment setup or removal.

9. Weather and Safety

Shu’s Event Rentals LLC reserves the right to delay delivery, suspend service, or remove equipment if weather conditions create unsafe operating conditions. Rental equipment, including tents and restroom trailers, may become unsafe during severe weather, including high winds, lightning, severe storms, flooding, or freezing temperatures.

9.1 Party Rental Equipment Safety - The Client is responsible for posting and communicating an OSHA-compliant evacuation plan for the event site when tents or temporary structures are installed. Tents and temporary structures are designed for normal weather conditions only and may become unsafe during high winds, lightning, or other severe weather. In the event of unsafe weather conditions, the Client is responsible for immediately evacuating the tent or temporary structure and ensuring the safety of all guests and occupants.

9.2 Luxury Restroom Trailer Rentals Safety - Restroom trailers must be used only for their intended purpose and in a safe manner. The Customer is responsible for monitoring weather conditions and ensuring the safety of guests using the restroom trailer during severe weather, including high winds, lightning, flooding, or other hazardous conditions.

10. Damage and Theft

The Customer is financially responsible for all rental equipment from delivery until pickup. Lost, stolen, or damaged equipment will be billed at current replacement cost.

11. Attorney Fees and Court Costs

Any additional costs incurred by the Company to recover unpaid balances or damages, including attorney fees and court costs, will be the responsibility of the Customer.

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and Shu’s Event Rentals LLC, except where superseded by the Luxury Restroom Trailer Rental Agreement for restroom trailer rentals.

By paying the invoice or accepting delivery of equipment, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
